Nohow On

I’m currently reading Beckett’s “Nohow On” while otherSein writes her novel-a-month. You could say Beckett is depressing but I get a bit of the “ah well, at least my life isn’t that bad – yet”.

Fave line so far: “You were once. You were never. Were you ever? Oh never to have been! Be again. Same flat tone.”

Taken some time off …

We’ve taken some time off while my partner deals with the effects of fibromyalgia. Full body pain can make even a masochist oversensitive. Will post more as we are starting to get back into the swing of things.

debating countries

My partner and I are making a go of it in the U.S. of A., so far so not good. Sure we have a roof over our head and enough food to eat, but as two bipolars with psychosis we have no healthcare to speak of and are holding our heads together with gaffer tape. England is looking remarkably attractive. However we have a new puppy and for her sake we’re going to try to stick it out here.

I’m feeling better the last 24 hrs after nabbing some clonazepam from a friend. Illegal thing to do, even though I have been on the drug for 17+ years, nobody here will prescribe it for me “until they know me”, a euphemism for “until I’ve paid for sufficient doctor’s visits”.
